Editorial policy

• Primary sources only. Every price comes from the facility's own web page or PDF. Usually that's a county or city government, sometimes the private operator. We don't copy prices from other directories.
• Dated and linked. Each facility page shows its source links and the date we last checked them.
• No guessing. If a price isn't published, we say so. We don't average, estimate or fill gaps with typical prices.
• Change monitoring. An automated monitor rechecks source pages weekly. Any change is re-read and confirmed against the source before the site is updated.
• Corrections. Email corrections@landfillfees.com. Facility staff can send updated schedules, and we confirm each one against the official source before publishing.
• Independence. Facilities can't pay to be listed or ranked. The estimator sorts by price only. Advertising, if shown, is labeled and never changes the data.
